Honestly, do you believe more Christians serve God out of necessity or obligation than out of love for Him?

Most of the "Christians" I've met completely failed to live their faith, so I'm gonna say that they aren't in it out of love. My guess would be a combination of cultural bias, upbringing, and a vague notion that if they don't get some church every now and then, God will get annoyed.
