Christians: Household differences on faith?
I am praying for a situation that has been annoying to be for a while. I am praying for patience regarding this. My wife believes in just going to church on sundays and that is the sum of what she believes. I like to listen to gospel music at home, sermons on podcast, and pass out tracts and food to homeless / beggers. This morning I purchased a large bag of rice from Costco to take to the homeless food kitchen. My wife proceeds to say that I will be wasting gas and she doesn't want to waste her time going over there. Why don't you just wait until later. I didn't say that she had to go to help at the mission. I don't make anything mandatory for her. I don't put her under any obligations. I try not to be offensive with bible readings and listening to gospel music, I usually just use my IPod and pray and read in a seperate room. However, she always seem to have something cynical and sarcastic to comment on this. It is becoming annoying. I know we are to pray in these situations for patience. What to do? I don't question what she does in the faith, why does she interject on what I choose to do?
