Need your help please! ?
So this woman I work with wants me to cover her shift 1:30 to 9 but I really don't want to. I don't like working at night and I don't know when I'll be moving into my new apt. What do I tell her? She's getting her tonsils taken out but I have other obligations too. I feel sorta bad though.
Does the service obligation include training?
A military contract has a length of time you are obligated to serve- for example 3 years. Is BT and AIT included? Would one be able to do his training and have that count towards the 3 years? Any branch.
Why did it take until 1950?
Curious as to why it took the Pope until 1950 to deem the Assumption of Mary as official Catholic church dogma? It is now celebrated as a Holy day of obligation and by this dogma if you at all question the validity of Mary being "assumed" to Heaven in body just like Jesus, you will be damned? Why did it take so long?
I bought an item online, now they refuse to ship it to me at that price and want to cancel or make me pay more?
So I bought an item off of AjMadison.com and I paid by card over the web and got a receipt email. Then they called the next day and said they made a mistake and they meant for the price to be over 100 dollars more and they would be happy to sell the item to me at that price or cancel the order. I feel like since I already paid and have a receipt for that item that despite their "error" that they are entitled to fulfill the contract and send me the item that I paid for. Legally, what are their obligations and does anyone have any advice for me in regards to what to say while contacting their customer service and not only complaining, but talking possible legal action?
What do you think of our baby names?
I would rate all of the boys names a nine and the name isabella a ten. I like the names especially isabella because it is kind of a classic, timeless name (and the name of a queen too)
I don't know what i want from life, i have everything but still ... This isnt it !!?
i know i sound crazy .... But this is the truth noone around me understands ... Am the only child, my parents love me a lot, i have a boyfriend doing postgraduation in otorhinolaryngology, he is gonna be a surgeon soon and i am in the final year of med school ... The fact is that i simply simply hate studying these medico books, the life here, how i've been brought up in a sheltered way and how my life is etched out right in front of me ... I am expected to get married in three to four years and then work in the local hospital in my town n stay around my family ... The truth is i hate medical profession so much that i am not being able to study hard enough, i wanna quit and do something which interests me... And intrigues my mind but i don't know what that would be .... I am 23 now and i hate the idea of getting married, having kids and making them go through the same old **** of school, college, life and competition... I feel like i haven't lived my life enough and i have given a majority of my youth to books and college ... I feel like breaking free, going wild ... Running away ... Alone.... Exploring this world ... Like a tourist ... No chains, obligations or people answerable to... I want to see everything in this world... The mountains, rivers, monastries.... All big and small places and meet all kinds of people and have expereinces ... But i know .... How my parents and my guy want me to become a respectable doctor, get married and serve the society, they dont let me do anything alone and since am the only child, i feel scared to let my loving parents down ... I've told them many times that i am not interested in this worldly rat race and dont wish to live like everyone else... I wanna go on a pilgrimage or gain spiritual knowledge and settle far away ... I dont wanna run after money or cars or better job or husband crap ... I feel like escaping, they tell me i need to get a job and have to get married ... They don't understand that this isn't my idea of happi
How is this story so far?
It's a very good start, but try to remember correct punctuation throughout, and varied lengths in sentences. Also, it's best to not have too many sentences starting with the word 'I'. Slow the story down a bit, take time to describe the surroundings, the emotions, etc. etc., and you'll be good. :) I would say.... 6 or 7 out of 10? Nice job<3
